Technical SEO training

Technical SEO is the foundation of your visibility. This technical SEO training covers everything that determines whether search engines and AI crawlers can fetch, understand and quickly load your website.

Who is it for?

  • Front-end and back-end developers
  • Technical marketers and web analysts
  • Product owners responsible for a website or online shop

What we cover

  • Crawling and indexing: robots.txt, XML sitemaps, crawl budget and index coverage in Search Console
  • Site speed and Core Web Vitals: measuring and improving LCP, INP and CLS
  • JavaScript and rendering: why content belongs in the raw HTML and when JavaScript becomes a problem
  • Duplicate content: canonicals, parameters and pagination
  • International websites: implementing hreflang correctly
  • Structured data: schema markup for rich results and AI search
  • Migrations: redirects and preserving rankings when launching a new site

What you take away

You can spot and fix technical SEO issues yourself, you know how to build a website that is search-friendly from the start, and you have a technical checklist for your own site.

Format and duration

I deliver the training on-site at your office or online, in English or Dutch. A session usually lasts half a day or a full day and is tailored to the group's level. Wherever possible we use your own website as practice material, so you leave with concrete improvements.

What a training day looks like

We start with a short check: what does the group already know and which questions are on the table? Explanation and exercises then alternate, always using your own website and competitors as examples. Midway through the day, participants work in small groups on a practical assignment that we review together. We close with a top five of improvements you can act on the very next day.

After the training

You receive the slides, a checklist and a summary of the improvements for your website. Two to four weeks later, an optional one-hour online follow-up session answers new questions and reviews progress.
